I am currently helping some families whose children hurt themsleves and lie about their injuries and compromise their parents with social services. These families are desperate for help.
I am currently researching these children who appear to hurt themsleves with hyperactive behaviours. Then when asked how they did it they can't remember because of lack of attention and try to join up the missing dots as it were by drawing from stored data in their memory about incidents of being hurt which could be drawn from other people's stories or films. Not so much telling lies but filling in the blanks with other stored data.
These children are often vitamin and mineral deficient and therefore bruise more easily.
Have any other families had similar experiences? |
