9TIPS is an international support group for families dealing with Trisomy 9 covering all variations. This includes Trisomy 9p, Trisomy 9 Mosaic, Trisomy 9q etc. Our goal is to provide families with support through a parent network system, to share their successes and experiences with each other. 9TIPS began in 1992 by the original founders and proud grandparents of two beautiful girls, Bill & Alice Todd. We now have a large network of families world wide, all dealing with similar issues.

Where to Go to Chat with Others

Trisomy 9 International Support Group
Purpose: 9tips is an open list for families of persons with Trisomy 9 (duplication, translocation or mosaic), including those in utero. Medical professionals, therapists and care providers are also welcome. 9tips' goal is to provide a safe forum for support, questions, concerns and general information exchange.
Trisomy 9q
This is an open forum support discussion list for anyone interested in sharing information and/or support for persons affected by "Trisomy 9q".
Trisomy Online
Hosts several on-line support groups for those whose lives have been touched by the diagnosis of a trisomy chromosomal disorder including Trisomy 18, Trisomy 13 and many other rarer Trisomy disorders.
