The Vestibular Disorders Association provides information about vestibular disorders and related topics, provides a support network for people with dizziness and balance disorders, educates the public and health professionals about the disorders, and supports research and clinical activities that may improve the quality of life for the people affected. VEDA has local chapters and has a directory of these groups available. They will give assistance to anyone who wishes to start a new support group in their locality.

VEDA publishes a quarterly newsletter, On The Level, that is free with membership and has many brochures and books available to members including; "Balancing Act," "Stories and Strategies: Coping with Vestibular Disorders," "Your Balance System: How does it Work," and "Bringing up Baby." They also have audiotapes that can be purchased and video tapes that can be rented or purchased. Write or telephone for additional information and order forms.

The association collects information on physicians and researchers who treat/study the condition and makes this information accessible to its members. They have a set of referral lists region-by-region that includes doctors, clinics, therapists, and support group leaders. VEDA also distributes a list of "sister" organizations that will provide further information.
