Wheelchairs
- Wheelchair Recycling Project
This Project's first priority is to serve people in Wisconsin, then to provide surplus equipment to national and international relief organizations throughout the world. The project has already provided hundreds of wheelchairs in Wisconsin, throughout the United States, and in many countries including China, Poland, Guatemala, Guana, El Salvador and Romania.
- Whirlwind Wheelchair International
Works to make it possible for every person in the developing world who needs a wheelchair to obtain one that will lead to maximum personal independence and integration into society.
- Wheels for Humanity
We are a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization located in North Hollywood, California. We refurbish donated wheelchairs and hand fit them to children and adults with disabilities in developing nations. We then partner with international health-care organizations to identify those in greatest need. With a team of volunteer health care professionals, each recipient is individually fitted to the wheelchair that best fits their needs.
